It's a little hard to find the pedestrian entrance to the Bourne bridge, and once you do a sign says to walk bicycles. Hah I thought, but boy do they mean it. There's a strong wind that tries its best to blow you off of the 5 feet of pavement directly into the 50 mph traffic! So I walked my bike, up and down the bridge (reducing my average pace by .7 miles incidentally). Even walking it took some strength to control the bike and not be moved by the wind. By far the most tense part of the ride.
