The Grande Raccordo Annulare (the GRA) is Rome's equivalent of Route 128. I just crossed it, and am contnuing a gentle climb. I can already tell I'm going to be very happy that I regeared the bike.
Its getting hot. It reached 80 degrees yesterday in the city. I just took off my arm warmers, took a big swig of PowerBar sports drink, and I'm on my way again.
